The transition from the written word to visual and auditory information is no longer something we have to wait for. The video age is already well and truly upon us. Research suggests 95% of informative content is remembered when consumed in video form, versus just 10% for content that is read — something that marketers, podcasters, streamers and every kind of web content creator is already aware of and building upon.

We are building a platform where it is possible to talk freely and in a very engaging way about the FUTURE, innovation, technology, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFT and all related ideas — all of the “building blocks” that will be part of our next iteration of the internet.

Gummys aims to become a hub where events, live-streaming and discussions happen with enthusiasm, fun and joy. A place where everyone in the Web3 space wants to be involved in the coming months: companies, brands, projects, startups, content-creators and final users.

All these players can promote themselves very effectively or start conversations, debates, get feedback from users that can watch and learn, attain knowledge, tokens and collectibles — and ultimately, be contributors to a very friendly and healthy environment.

With our combination of incentivization, accessibility, and a strong stance against arbitrary censorship, Gummys has more value and engagement potential than Youtube in Web3 space.

We don’t intend to fight against the YouTubes of this world, but we do intend to fill the gaps that platforms like YouTube have thus far failed to fill. Our goal is to get at least 0.01% of internet video users related to our niche.

We are building a platform for the users of the next internet interaction already. We provide wallet logins directly from Metamask or Trustwallet, so say goodbye to username and passwords. Every UX choice and every line of code is written by people that have the same united vision as us.

Gummys content is stored on the blockchain: we do not store sensitive information. We offer an opportunity to earn income for viewers and users that engage and get rewarded with tokens (watch-engage-to-earn). Content creators own the content for real and they can mint and monetise videos from media, NFTs and so much more.

We aim to be a must-use application. Our model is designed to be very scalable, and once we are strong enough we will target different market segments as well. This will be discussed in-depth at a future date. Stay tuned!
